Video Transcript:

The singer of "Blank Space" is the big winner of the night, getting the Grammy Awards' Album of the Year.

She also takes home the prizes for best pop album and world's best selling album of 2014.

"I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you, some day when you get where you're going, you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there," said Swift as she accepted the award.

Her victory's an upset for rapper Kendrick Lamar, who won five awards and looked to be on course to take the night's most prestigious prize.

R&B singer Bruno Mars and producer Mark Ronson won record of the year for "Uptown Funk".

"Thank you guys so much. This is dedicated to the fans. We wouldn't be up here if it wasn't for the people dancing to this song," said Mars.

But the Grammys' most memorable performance? Lady Gaga's tribute to the late rock star David Bowie.
